Who this is for

WHS managers, asset owners and employers managing sewer work

Your operating priority

Separate operational gas control from the assessment of worker exposure and required safety controls.

Before you specify or buy

Scope competent exposure assessment against applicable TWA and STEL requirements with your WHS advisers. Engineering support does not replace occupational hygiene expertise or authorise entry.

What is covered

  • Agree the work scope and applicable jurisdiction and requirements before review.
  • Review suitable personal exposure or sampling information, including method and duration, where provided.
  • Identify data gaps and where a qualified occupational hygienist or other specialist should be engaged.
  • In-house RPEQ engineering support is distinct from occupational hygiene credentials.

What we will ask you

  • Jurisdiction, work activity and applicable requirement/date
  • Personal exposure sampling method, duration and results if available
  • Existing risk assessment and specialist support involved

This page is information only. Pricing, availability and specifications are provided through an enquiry.

Important information

  • STEL means short-term exposure limit; TWA means time-weighted average. A brief process-gas reading does not establish exposure over the required assessment periods.
  • Scope is agreed before review. Applicable requirements depend on jurisdiction and date; no numeric thresholds are reproduced here.
  • RPEQ engineering capability is not an occupational hygiene certificate or credential.
  • Monitoring is not confined-space clearance and must never replace site safety or emergency procedures.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Can sewer process monitoring demonstrate compliance with H2S STEL and TWA limits?
Not by itself. STEL and TWA relate to exposure over defined assessment periods and require an appropriate assessment method. Review applicable jurisdiction and current requirements, obtain occupational hygiene advice where needed and maintain site safety controls. Process monitoring and RPEQ engineering are not personal exposure clearance.
Does Critical Elixirs certify workplace exposure compliance?
No blanket certification or endorsement is offered. The agreed scope may review suitable information; occupational hygiene assessment should be obtained where appropriate.
Can a remote gas logger establish exposure compliance?
No. A gas logger is not a substitute for suitable personal exposure sampling, appropriate sampling duration or professional occupational hygiene advice.
Does monitoring clear a confined space for entry?
No. Monitoring does not provide confined-space clearance and never replaces site safety or emergency procedures.
